SUMMARY:Vanrhyns Toughie Trail Run - Dooppoort Pass
DESCRIPTION:Join the strong and fit during May 2019 on the Vanrhyns Toughie.  The route will take athletes over die steep Dooppoort Pass with a average gradient of 1:9 and certain sections 1:4. \nTackle the Knersvlakte where participants will have to bite on their teeth to see them through the challenging 25 km.  Prizes for first three winners men and women and a medallion for all finishers within. \nBegin at the Klein Kobee Road to join the Dooppoortpas.  Turning point at the summit of the pass with a loop in the Nama Karoo.  Finish at starting point  25km. \nThere will also be a fun run of 4km around the Loskoppe. \nEntry fees:\n\n25km – R400\n5km – R100\nCut-off time:  12:30\nPrize giving:   13:00\n\nCoffee and tea before the start of the race will be on the house. Pancakes\, Boerewors rolls and cold drinks for sale.
