Nitida Wine Estate is a small, family-owned boutique winery nestled in the Durbanville Wine Valley, just north of Cape Town. Named after the indigenous Protea nitida (“Waboom” tree), Nitida embodies refinement, honesty, and dedication to terroir?driven wines.
The estate’s philosophy centers on “handmade is an attitude”—emphasizing day?to?day vineyard care, hand?harvesting, and minimal intervention winemaking to produce authentic wines that express the microclimate of Durbanville. With just 16?ha under vine, Nitida crafts a distinctive portfolio, including Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage, Shiraz, and Methode Cap Classique.
Visitors can enjoy wine tastings in a cellar?based tasting room, explore the estate’s two restaurants—Cassia Restaurant and Tables at Nitida—or attend special events like wine blending workshops and cannon?firing tours.
