Founded in 2001 by winemakers José Conde (of Stark?Condé Wines) and brothers Tyrrel and Philip Myburgh (of Joostenberg Wines), MAN Family Wines is a creative and value-driven label named in homage to their wives (Marie, Anette & Nicky).
Based in the shale-rich Agter?Paarl region, the company partners directly with local growers, many of whom farm dry-land bush vines over 25 years old to deliver intensely flavored grapes used in flagship wines such as Free?run Steen Chenin Blanc, Bosstok Pinotage, Ou?Kalant Cabernet Sauvignon, and Skaapveld Shiraz. Today, MAN produces over 250,000 cases annually and exports to more than 30 countries.
Their tasting room offers a relaxed, authentic experience where visitors can explore approachable, modern wines—deemed “everyday wines for wine geeks”. All wines are vegan-friendly, using plant-based fining methods without animal products.
