DESCRIPTION:In May 2014\, the very first Stoep Tasting Wine Weekend was held in Graaff Reinet – 5 wine producers graced 5 lovely stoeps in the town. 45 tickets were sold and it was the beginning of something wonderful. \nToday the annual Stoep Tasting Wine Weekend is one of the premier wine tourism weekends in Africa and showcases the top independent wine and spirit producers from South Africa and abroad. It incorporates the towns of Graaff Reinet and Nieu Bethesda and wine tasters and buyers travel from across Southern Africa to stroll the streets of these two picturesque Karoo towns\, from stoep to stoep and taste and purchase some of the finest tipples in the world.
