Tucked into the scenic slopes of the Simonsberg Mountains between Paarl and Stellenbosch, Marianne is a boutique wine estate marrying deep French heritage with Cape Winelands charisma.
Established in 2004 by a Bordeaux family aiming to craft Old?World finesse in a New?World setting, the estate spans 32 hectares, with 24 hectares under vine.
Its gravity?fed cellar, built in 2005, features French oak and acacia barrels, enabling meticulously gentle winemaking. The estate produces handcrafted wines—reds, whites, rosés, and sparkling—using minimal intervention techniques that prioritize vineyard integrity, with varieties like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Pinotage, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Viognier, and Sauvignon Blanc.
