Namaqua Wines is a pioneering West Coast wine estate founded in 1947 in the Namaqualand region.
Located near Vredendal beneath the Maskamberg, the estate thrives in a unique coastal terroir with rich soils and cool Atlantic breezes. They produce a diverse portfolio—from Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc to Shiraz, Pinotage, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and innovative sweet and MCC styles—while prioritizing environmental stewardship of the Namaqualand ecosystem.
At the heart of the estate is Die?Keldery, the official tasting room and restaurant offering wine tastings, food pairings (such as chocolate, biltong, pizza, smoked fish quiche, etc.), and a casual à ?la?carte menu with steaks and sushi. It’s a hub for farm-to-table experiences enhanced by panoramic vineyard and mountain views
