Mont?Blois Wine Estate is a six-generation family-run winery located in the scenic De?Hoop valley of the Robertson Wine Valley.
Founded in 1869 and housed in a cellar built in 1884, the estate is currently managed by Ernst Bruwer, alongside winemaker and Cape Wine Master Nina?Mari Bruwer. Their wines, principally Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, and Muscadel, are small-batch, terroir-driven and expressive of the estate’s limestone-rich soils and high-altitude microclimates.
Highlights include Kweekkamp and Hoog & Laag Chardonnays, as well as the estate’s signature Pomphuis White Muscadel, recently awarded Platinum by Muskadel SA.
Visiting Mont?Blois offers an intimate and understated experience. Tastings are by appointment only, allowing guests to enjoy curated wine selections and personal insights from the Bruwer family in a tranquil valley setting framed by the Langeberg Mountains
