Beaumont Family Wines, situated on the historic Compagnes Drift farm in Bot River, is a family-run boutique winery defined by its heritage, integrity, and artisanal winemaking.
Replanted in 1974 by Jayne and Raoul Beaumont, it now spans 34?hectares of vineyards amidst natural fynbos ecosystems. Since Sebastian Beaumont assumed winemaking in 2004, the estate has earned acclaim for expressive wines, Chenin Blanc, Pinotage, Mourvèdre, and Rhône-style blends that reflect ancient shale soils and Walker Bay’s coastal terroir.
The tasting experience is relaxed and immersive: visitors sample limited cellar?door releases and may even try barrel tastings, all while enjoying views of working vineyards and enjoying meals at the on-site Zest Deli & Kitchen.
Beaumont is celebrated not just for its wines, but for its generous hospitality, scenic farm environment, and agrarian story rooted in sustainability and craft.
